Communicable Disease

One of the most basic responsibilities of schools is to prevent the spread of communicable diseases.  This is accomplished through a comprehensive program of immunizations, screening and referral, education, and exclusion, if necessary.

Statutes

• New Jersey Statutes Annotated (N.J.S.A.) Title 18A
  The State Board of Education and Commissioner of Education adopt regulations to implement specific portions of education law. Education rules and regulations must be grounded in state education law. N.J.S.A. 18A can be accessed via the websites of the N.J. Legislature or Rutgers University School of Law - Newark.
